David Loder, Sr. Warden
As your newly appointed Senior Warden, I’ve been asked to introduce myself to folks who may not know me personally. I am Dave Loder and I have been attending St. Alban’s since the spring of 2011. I love this church and have served in just about every capacity available except as one of your Wardens. I was born and raised in Boston until I graduated High School in 1969 and enlisted in the Marine Corps. I served for 10 years, including a tour in Vietnam. I then left to become a police officer in Southern California where I served for about 14 years. I decided to go to law school in my forties and spent almost 20 years as a criminal lawyer, first a Deputy County Attorney, then for a brief stint as a Tribal Court Judge and finishing out my career as a Deputy Public Defender. My wife Debra and I are officially retired now and busier than ever with church, charity work and part-time Grandma and Grandpa duties! I look forward to Serving as your Senior Warden as this church marches forward into God’s future for us!
